  • A Cat Called Tilly

    Kay Schofield

    Paperback (i2i Publishing, July 16, 2019)
When my granddaughters, Hannah and Molly, were little they would often come over to our house and stay overnight for a `sleepover.' At their bedtime I would sit at the end of the bed and make up stories which I would tell them. They loved them and it was a special time for all of us when the story ended with us all laughing and giggling. When the girls grew up, they often talked about how they remembered those stories and how much they had enjoyed them. My Mum, who was a keen writer herself and had attended creative writing classes, encouraged me to write down all the stories I had made up so that Hannah and Molly would always have them. I did that and Hannah and Molly have copies now and hopefully one day they will have the enjoyment of reading them to their children. Tilly is a real cat. She was a cat who no one wanted until she came to live with me. She found a home with me and stayed with me for a few years and now lives happily with Hannah and Molly at their home.
